INSPECTIONS

ACCT-certified inspections to keep your course safe, compliant, and running.

INSPECTIONS

We service parks we didn't build.

If you own an existing course — regardless of who built it — we can inspect it, repair it, and train your staff.

Adventure Designs offers professional inspection services for all types of adventure and challenge course elements. As an ACCT Professional Vendor Member, we are qualified to inspect Low and High Challenge Courses, Ziplines and Zipline Tours, Aerial Adventure Parks, and Climbing Walls.

Both ACCT and ASTM standards require an annual inspection by a qualified professional. We visit your site at a time convenient to you and perform an unhurried, thorough, hands-on examination. We take time to listen to your concerns, answer questions, and ensure we fully understand the scope before we begin. We inspect domestically and internationally — including courses in Central America.

Course Types

WHAT WE INSPECT

Low Challenge Courses

Full assessment of ground-level elements, spotting zones, anchors, and infrastructure.

High Challenge Courses

Detailed inspection of elevated elements, cables, belay systems, platforms, and poles.

Ziplines & Zipline Tours

Line tension, trolley condition, braking systems, landing zones, and structural components.

Aerial Adventure Parks

Smart belay systems, element integrity, throughput paths, emergency egress, and staff equipment.

Climbing Walls

Wall structure, hold condition, anchor systems, padding, and overall safety compliance.

Inflatables & Bounce Houses

Bounce houses, obstacle courses, slides, and inflatable amusement structures. NAARSO certified.

Advanced Structural Testing

POLE INSPECTIONS & RESISTOGRAPH TESTING

Utility poles are the structural backbone of your course. Hidden decay — woodpecker damage, core rot, cracks, and below-ground deterioration — can compromise structural integrity with no visible sign. As part of our inspection services, we deploy the Resistograph Drilling and Recording system, the industry-leading tool for non-destructive pole assessment. It produces a recorded graph of pole integrity from surface to below grade, pinpointing exactly where damage exists and how extensive it is.

This data drives every repair-or-replace decision with real measurements — not guesswork.

Non-destructive testing method

Detects below-ground decay

Produces a recorded integrity graph

Identifies core rot and checking

Assesses woodpecker damage extent

Guides repair-or-replace decisions

INFLATABLE INSPECTIONS

NAARSO-Certified Inflatable Inspections

Adventure Designs provides professional safety inspections for commercial inflatable bounce houses, inflatable obstacle courses, inflatable slides, and inflatable amusement structures. Our inspectors hold NAARSO (National Association of Amusement Ride Safety Officials) certification — the industry standard for amusement ride and inflatable safety inspections.

Whether you operate a rental fleet, a permanent installation, or a traveling inflatable attraction, we inspect for structural integrity, anchor systems, blower performance, seam condition, electrical safety, and compliance with ASTM F2374 standards for inflatable amusement devices.

NAARSO Certified • ASTM F2374 Compliant

Standards We Work To

ACCT & ASTM STANDARDS

We inspect against current standards from the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) and the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) — the two recognized benchmarks for challenge course safety in the United States. Our inspection reports document compliance against both.
